Toshiro Konishi is one of the premier exponents of gastronomy in Peru.

A native of Japan, chef Konishi arrived in Peru 35 years ago. He spent years wondering the Pacific shores of the country, where he found the inspiration to develop a dish now representative of Peruvian cuisine: the tiradito.

He shared his work and knowledge through continuous television appearances alongside popular TV chef Teresa Ocampo, becoming a true gastronomic celebrity.

In this new venture as chef at Mesa 18, Konishi presents an inspired proposal based on authentic Japanese cuisine, with influences of Peruvian gastronomy.
